Long gone are our nights at the Opera Hotel in Kyiv, where we used to stop until the next day we set off on our trip to the Crimea. Those nights without noise, only interrupted by the discreet and friendly chatter of the diners and our glances of lovers that drowned out the noise of the silverware on the plates, at that secluded table that was always reserved for us, in front of a window illuminated by the dim lights of the street lamps.

Long gone are those few times when we left our room because we only needed the sound of our moans and the dripping of our sweaty bodies. The infinite "I love yous" that populated the suite. That room of this hotel so close to the Obelisk of the Heroic City, the botanical garden and the Cathedral of St. Vladimir, St. Sophia and Shevchenko Park where we took long walks as if there was no tomorrow. Forgetting that, one day, there would be no tomorrow.
